Bio:

Mentor and associate professor of political economy at George Wythe University, Steve Farrell, is the editor of the Liberty Letters, one of the original pundits at America’s News Page – Silver Eddy Award winner –NewsMax.com (1999-2008), the author of the highly praised inspirational novel, Dark Rose, longtime contributor at The Center for Applied Philosophy, and presently President of The Center for Moral Liberalism, and editor and chief of its flagship publication, The Moral Liberal.

One of the more popular columnists on the Internet, Steve is best known for his faithful, thought provoking defenses of the US Constitution, Judeo-Christian morality and honest-to-goodness, non-partisan politics.

His efforts on this front landed him a position as press agent for Defend Marriage (a project of United Families International); a founding role in the Family News Network; and publication of his work in Catholic, Baptist, Jewish, Seventh-day Adventist, Worldwide Church of God, General Christian, and LDS publications.

Of note: Steve’s The Un-American United Nations was hand-carried by the grass roots organization Write for America to every member of the US House and Senate; his Coalition or Bust! Virtue or Vice? republished by the University of Cambridge in England, his groundbreaking series on the Third Way twice a “recommended read” of the University of Chicago Alumni Association, his work on campaign finance reform, and abortion featured at the American Conservative Union, his essay God and George Washington republished by the Catholic Education Resource Center, his economic history of NATO front paged at the Ludwig Von Mises Institute, and his Thou Shalt Not Kill – A Convicted Murderer? selected by ReligiousTolerance.org as a static top-tier read on capital punishment.

Steve has also been featured in the World Tribune, WorldNetDaily (a dozen times), The New York Times, NRA.org, Eco-Logic, in campaign literature, daily briefs, or commentary for the Reform, American Independent, Libertarian, and Republican parties, while his work has been prominently linked to by The Wall Street Journal, Fox News, The Washington Post, The Dallas Morning News, Time.com, and many others.

Possessed of a good eye for talent, Steve’s recruiting efforts at upstart Right Magazine produced two NewsMax writers (he and Diane Alden), two columnists at World Net Daily, one for the Heritage Foundation, and several for the Libertarian favorite, Enter Stage Right, where he also serves as contributing editor – he notes, however: “I am not a Libertarian.”

Steve also does periodic talk radio spots, locally and nationally, including (until KDWN AM was recently bought out) regular appearances on the regional hit show, Wake Up America!

An engaging speaker, Steve delivered the “God and Country” speech at the 2006 National Convention for the Organization For Competitive Markets.

He is a contributor to the George Wythe University Statesmen, associate professor of political economy, and currently has several books, fiction and non-fiction, in various stages of production.

He and his wife Jeanette are the parents of seven children, and five grandchildren.
